Maintenance Worker  
Parks & Facilities Management 

 

The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, benefitted position of Maintenance Worker in the Parks & Facilities Management Division.  Ability to operate light equipment and lift 40 lbs. is required. 

Qualified applicants must be able to perform a variety of duties relating to building and park maintenance.  This position will be responsible for the cleaning of office buildings; conducting spot inspections for damage or broken items that may be hazardous; check park pavilions and equipment for vandalism and safety; remove trash cans from the parks; clean trash cans; clean and rake playground areas; litter control in the parks & county office buildings.  Some weekend and holiday work is required.  Will work closely and under the general supervision of the Parks and Facilities Management Director.  Minimum of 18 years of age and high diploma required.  Clean driving record a must.
