Wakulla County Announces Application Period for FY2015/16 Solid Waste Vacancy Adjustment Program

The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners announces Fiscal Year 2015/16 Vacancy Adjustment Program related to the Solid Waste Assessment.

The Vacancy Adjustment Program allows any property owner to seek a refund of the Solid Waste Assessment for residential property which is vacant from October 1, 2015 – September 30, 2016.  The owner shall submit a Vacancy Adjustment Application along with documentation from a utility provider indicating that no electric or other utility services were provided to such property during October 1, 2015 – September 30, 2016.  The application and required documentation is due to the County Administrator’s Office by October 15, 2016.
