EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:  Planning Technician Anticipated Vacancy

The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Planning Technician. This is a full-time benefitted position, which is primarily responsible for the front-line operations, including the intake and processing of permits and applications for the Planning and Zoning Division.

Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent. A.A. or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. One (1) year of office work experience is required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with members of the public is required. Familiarity with reading deeds and maps is preferred but not required.
