EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: REVENUE COLLECTIONS OFFICE MANAGER (Anticipated Vacancy) - 

The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Office Manager within the Revenue Collections Department. This is a benefitted position and will report to the Director of Fiscal Operations.

Highly responsible professional and administrative work managing the revenue related activities for the Board specific to the Public Works Department. Oversee the everyday activities of the Revenue Collections Department as it relates to sewer and other monthly billings. Also responsible for receiving, recording and transferring all incoming revenues to the County and to the Clerk of the Court and ensure that all related ordinances are enforced in an equitable manner.

The successful candidate must be 18 years of age, be a high school graduate or possess an acceptable equivalency diploma. Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business administration or a related field and four years of professional experience in accounting, finance or in a business activity requiring the collection and processing of revenue transactions; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Two years of the required experience must have been in a supervisory capacity. A masters’ degree in one of the above areas, or possession of a CPA or CIA certificate may substitute for one year of the required experience. The selected applicant must have a thorough knowledge of Excel and the ability and willingness to learn new software.
