Fleet Management


FLEET MANAGEMENT:

Fleet Management oversees maintenance & repairs on all County vehicles, small & heavy equipment. Additional roles and responsibilities are:

  • Purchasing and maintaining inventory
  • Coordinating warranty repairs with dealers
  • Obtaining price quotes for new purchases and repairs
  • Prepare specifications for vehicle and equipment purchases
  • Overseeing the County’s fueling system
    • Dispensing Fuel to County, State, and Federal Departments
    • Maintaining three dispensers and three tanks – operating 24/7
    • Maintaining a backup power system enabling the County to continue fueling in power outages
    • Overseeing theft prevention procedures
