Mashes Sands Beach is located at 901 Mashes Sands Road, Panacea, FL 32346, and is one of Wakulla County's hidden treasures. This secluded beach is surrounded by saltwater marshes, hosts an abundance of wildlife, and is a great place to fish or watch the sunset. Mashes Sands Beach has limited amenities but features a mobile restroom facility onsite.
The Mashes Sands Boat Ramp is accessible at 801 Mashes Sands Road, providing access to Ochlockonee Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
The Mashes Sands Pier is currently under construction and being rebuilt. It remained closed since being destroyed by Hurricane Michael. Funding recently became available, and we're looking forward to enjoying the fishing and view again.
The Park Hours at Mashes Sands Beach and Mashes Sands Pier (once repaired) are 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
