SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT  (Part-Time Position)

The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time Senior Administrative Assistant in the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, within the Board of County Commissioners.

The successful candidate must be 18 years of age, be a high school graduate or possess an acceptable equivalency diploma.  Six (6) years of work experience in administrative, office, secretarial work or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provided the required knowledge, skills and abilities.  Individuals with a good work ethic and time management skills are encouraged to apply.  Legislative and/or grant experience a plus. 
 
Qualified applicants must be able to perform a variety of duties in a busy, professional office.  The selected candidate will provide administrative support to the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs.  Must be able to multi-task efficiently.  Specific duties will relate to legislative activities, projects, RESTORE Act, coordinating workshops, public notices and making travel arrangements.   Must be computer literate and have a good working knowledge of Excel, Word as well as the ability to learn other software programs.
