Wakulla County through the Florida Division of Emergency Management is making available to its residents and business owners a new, high-speed emergency notification known as Alert Wakulla County.  This system will replace the county’s current CodeRED system.

Alert Wakulla County provides county and municipal residents and business owners with the ability to receive emergency notifications and warnings regarding emergencies and/or threatening severe weather on their home phone, business phones, cell phones and email address.  To ensure that the system will call you when your address or business is threatened by an emergency or by severe weather, simply register your address and contact information into the Alert Wakulla County portal, located on the at http://www.wcso.org/emergency-management/alert-wakulla/

Please note that Wakulla County will no longer be utilizing the CodeRED system, as of November 30^th , any individuals who wish to have their emergency notification service carried over to Alert Wakulla County must register into the Alert Wakulla County web portal. For those users that are currently signed up for CodeRed, through the month of November you may receive duplicate messages from the CodeRed and the Alert Wakulla County notification systems. This will allow us the opportunity to transition all users to the new system.
