NOTICE OF REFERENDUM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at an election to be held in Wakulla County, Florida, on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, the following question will be submitted to a vote of the people:

                  EXTENSION OF EXISTING ONE CENT
                     LOCAL GOVERNMENT INFRASTRUCTURE SALES SURTAX

Shall Wakulla County fund road paving and transportation improvements, a new regional recreational park and improvements to existing parks and recreational facilities, fire trucks, ambulances, and other public safety vehicles and facilities, public facilities, and other public purposes authorized by law by continuing to levy a one cent sales surtax from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2037 with the surtax maintained in a dedicated fund and spending monitored by a citizen’s oversight committee?
