ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR
ANTICIPATED VACANCY JOB OPPORTUNITY

The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Administrative Coordinator located in the Fire Rescue Main Office.  This is a highly responsible clerical, secretarial and administrative position that is required to solve problems; learn and implement department rules, policies and procedures; coordinate payroll, work with HR Director to solve related HR issues;  process disbursements for payment.  The selected candidate must have the ability to work with little or no direction.  Must be willing to attend training seminars and upon occasion, work flexible hours.  This position also serves as the assistant to the Director of Public Safety. 

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree and three to five years of administrative experience or a high school diploma and six years of administrative/clerical experience.  Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.  Preference will be given to those individuals with skills in effective written and verbal communication, purchasing, human resources and office management.
