Wakulla County Swears-In Newly Elected and Re-Elected Commissioners and Selects Chairman & Vice Chairman
 
Crawfordville, Florida – The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners held a Ceremony yesterday, November 20, 2018 at the Commission Chambers to swear-in the newly elected and re-elected Commissioners. 

The newly elected Commissioners were voted on by the citizens at the November 6, 2018 General Election and will serve a four year term.  Wakulla County Judge, Jill Walker officiated the ceremony and swore-in new Commissioner elect Quincee Messersmith, District 4 and Re-Elected Commissioner Randy Merritt, District 2.  “I look forward to working closely with the new Board to continue improving our County,” said David Edwards, County Administrator.

In addition to the swearing-in of the Commissioners, the Board also approved for the designation of a Chairman and Vice Chairman.  The Board unanimously approved for Commissioner Chuck Hess to assume the role as the Chairman and Commissioner Mike Stewart as the new Vice Chairman.
