Fleet Maintenance Manager
Road & Bridge Division 

The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, benefitted position of Fleet Maintenance Manager in the Road & Bridge Department (pending Board Approval). 

Qualified applicants must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and five (5) years of experience in fleet management/administration or maintenance work and two (2) years of management and/or supervisory experience.   Responsibilities include all facets of fleet maintenance including:  supervision of line mechanics;  processing work orders; prioritizing service repairs, monitoring fuel consumption; researching and recommending purchases and replacement of vehicles; monitoring and preparing budgets.   Must be able to manage staff as well as work alongside staff as necessary.  ABILITIES:  Ability to lift 50 lbs.; multi-task and work well with colleagues.  Must be willing to work outside in various weather conditions. 

Preference will be given to those individuals with a CDL license and certification in EVT (emergency vehicle repair). 

Salary will commensurate with experience and qualifications.  Minimum starting salary is $18.40 an hour.   To apply, send a Wakulla County employment application to Human Resources, P.O.
