Maintenance Worker
Parks & Facilities  

The Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, benefitted position of Maintenance Worker in the Parks & Facilities Department. 

Qualified applicants must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent and one (1) year of semi-skilled maintenance work.  Responsibilities include all facets of park maintenance including: maintaining equipment, litter control; cleaning of restrooms; periodically operate light equipment and performing preventative maintenance; complete reports and periodically interact with the general public. ABILITIES:  Ability to lift 45 lbs.; climb ladders; work weekends (alternating); work holidays (possible) and pass background check.  Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions. 

Preference will be given to those individuals with a background in electrical, plumbing and/or carpentry work.
