The Wakulla County Industrial Development Authority will hold a Public Meeting on January 13, 2011 at 10:00a.m. at the Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners Conference Room, 3093 Crawfordville Hwy., (850) 926-0919. This will be the annual business meeting of the Authority to elect new officers and conduct other business. 12/17/10 ATTENTION PROPERTY OWNERS: Don’t Forget to Take Advantage of the Discounted Sewer Connection Rates – To comply with the Wakulla County Sewer Ordinance, the County mailed letters in early January 2010 notifying required property owners of their mandatory connection within 365 days. Since then, the County waived the mandatory sewer connection requirements for those properties approved for waiver by the Department of Health. In addition, the County provided an extension for the Sewer Connection Incentive Program to assist local property owners who are required to connect to the County’s central sewer system. In an effort to assist the property owners with the substantial costs associated with the connection, the Board extended the following discounted rates for those who apply connection no later than the dates indicated below shall pay the following reduced connection fees:

This voluntary process is intended to be used primarily for improvements on public property but may be used for improvements on private property or for private facilities if the property owners impacted by the improvements agree. It may be used for private roads, if the County is granted the right to construct the improvements by donation of all necessary right-of-way.
