Commissioner Stewart is a lifelong resident of Wakulla County.  He is a graduate of Wakulla High School, Class of 1973.   He earned an Associates Degree from Florida State College.   He served his country in the United States Navy for 20 years, retiring in 1993.   He then started the NJROTC program at Wakulla High School and taught there, faithfully for the next 21 years, retiring in 2014.   He has served Wakulla County as a County Commissioner from 1996-2004 and then again from 2008-2012.  He is married to Libby McFalls Stewart and together they have four children, Rebecca, Zac, Doran and Abbi.   He worships with his family at Medart Assembly of God, where he has served on the Board of Deacons for more than twenty years.

 Commissioner Stewart is committed to serving the needs of every Wakulla County citizen.
