The Communications & Public Services Department is responsilble for providing and serving as an advocate of the Board to effectively communicate policies, procedures, programs, and political position of the Board.

This department also is responsible for issuing press releases to the media for publication; builds and maintains a positive relationship with the public; maintains the County website; maintains a working relationship with municipalities, and serves as Board’s liaison at various board and committee meetings,oversees agenda coordination, public records request, administrative staff, office management, Recreation Services, Library Services, and Veteran Services.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides staff support to the CountyAdministrator; assists in the creation and evaluation of reports relating to above subject areas; communicates with staff on policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
