Wakulla County government includes six primary departments under the direct control of the county administrator.  Two professional deputy county administrators serve at the pleasure of the administrator to shepherd and lead two of these primary departments within the county organization.

Mr. Tim Barden, MPA, serves as Deputy County Administrator for the Office of Management and Budget.  Accordingly, Mr. Barden serves as the key budget officer for Wakulla County and provides oversight to the purchasing, human resource, grants project management, facilities management, and risk management.  Mr. Barden joins Wakulla County from DeKalb County, Georgia and has served since 2007.
