Division Responsibilities:
The Wakulla County Probation Division provides regular probation supervision, intensive supervision, electronic monitoring, Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring, and pre-trial or conditional bond supervision to all defendants who are ordered either by the County or Circuit Court to complete certain conditions. The Probation/Pre-trial Program is responsible for directing the offenders toward successful completion of the court imposed mandates in lieu of return to incarceration. The Pre-trial release component is a cost effective program which allows the Court an alternative to incarceration and is designed to help manage the jail population. A cost of supervision fee is imposed and collected monthly from the defendants. Wakulla County Probation is located in the Court House on the first floor, Room 111. We are accountable to the Courts and the County Commissioners of Wakulla County. The staff consists of three individuals:
